SpaceX began trading above its offering price on its first day on the US stock market.
Walter Bloomberg reported on June 12 that SpaceX opened at $150 a share in its first IPO trade in the US.
That was about 11.1% above its IPO price of $135.
The aerospace company had drawn attention as one of the biggest listings of the year.
Investor interest had built in recent months, with strong demand reported during the offering process.
The market is watching SpaceX’s debut as a key gauge of the recovery in the US IPO market.
Some investors were also said to have raised cash for the IPO by unwinding existing stock and cryptocurrency positions.
