Walter Bloomberg, a social media-based markets news account, wrote on X on June 15 that "within 30 days after a final agreement, US troops must leave areas near Iran."
The report came after Iran's Foreign Ministry said talks on its nuclear program and procedures for sanctions relief would begin within 60 days. Tasnim News Agency, citing a source, also reported that US troops would have to withdraw from areas near Iran within 30 days of a final agreement.
The US and Iran were previously reported to have reached a preliminary agreement to extend a recent 60-day ceasefire and discuss key issues including Iran's nuclear program and sanctions relief. The full text of any final agreement has not yet been released.
