A wallet possibly linked to BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes received 3,000 Ether from Flowdesk, according to on-chain data.
On June 15, on-chain analytics account Onchain Lens wrote on X that "a wallet possibly linked to Arthur Hayes received 3,000 ETH from Flowdesk." The transfer was worth about $5.42 million.
Onchain Lens said the wallet's direct connection to Hayes has not been verified. It added that a FalconX deposit address had previously received funds directly from Hayes, raising the possibility of a link.
Flowdesk provides crypto liquidity, over-the-counter trading and market-making services. FalconX is known for offering institutional crypto brokerage and prime brokerage services.
The market is watching Ether transfers by large investors and institutional wallets as a short-term supply-and-demand factor.
