MEGA Launches MOSS Wallet for AI Agents

MEGA has launched a cryptocurrency wallet designed for artificial intelligence agents.

BlockBeats reported on June 17 that MEGA introduced the wallet solution, called MOSS, that day.

MOSS is built around limited permissions. Until now, AI agents needed either direct access to private keys to operate a wallet or user approval for every transaction. Handing over private keys increases security risks, while requiring approval each time limits an AI agent’s autonomy.

MEGA said MOSS addresses that problem with rule-based permission settings. For example, users can set trading conditions for AI agents, such as a limit of up to $500 a day in transactions. Users can also revoke those permissions when needed.

MOSS runs on MEGA’s real-time blockchain network, which the company said has latency of less than 10 milliseconds.
