Hsiao-Wei Wang, co-executive director and a board member of the Ethereum Foundation, has officially resigned, crypto-focused outlet Wu Blockchain reported on June 18.
Wang said Ethereum’s core strength lies in a permissionless, open infrastructure built collectively by developers and contributors around the world.
She said she has not yet decided what role she will take on next. Wang added that she will remain part of the Ethereum community.
A longtime key figure in Ethereum core development and research, Wang had until recently taken part in running the foundation as co-executive director and a member of its board.
The Ethereum Foundation has recently been pursuing organizational restructuring and governance changes as it revamps its operating structure.
