Naver Pay Wallet on Chiliz Tops 1 Million Users

Naver Pay Wallet, which uses the Chiliz chain as its mainnet, has surpassed 1 million users.

Chiliz said June 19 that the wallet's user base increased more than fivefold in a year from about 200,000 in June 2025. The Chiliz chain serves as the mainnet for Naver Pay Wallet, supporting blockchain-based services and digital-asset features.

Naver Pay is also running a World Cup NFT event linked to game-streaming platform CHZZK as the wallet gains users. Users can log in to Naver Pay Wallet and take part in quests such as watching live World Cup matches or supporting streamers.

Users who complete the quests will receive one of 12 World Cup NFTs issued on the Chiliz chain. Chiliz described the event as a Web3 use case that combines blockchain technology with the sports content experience.

Chiliz is also expanding its national-team fan token business. The company recently signed a partnership with the Royal Spanish Football Federation and is preparing to launch a fan token for Spain's national team.

With Spain, Chiliz now has a lineup of fan tokens for seven national teams: Argentina, Portugal, Italy, Belgium, Scotland, South Africa and Spain. Details including the launch schedule and participation process for the Spain national team fan token will be announced later in line with the European Union's Markets in Crypto-Assets regulation, or MiCA.

Alexandre Dreyfus, Chiliz's chief executive officer, called the milestone of more than 1 million Naver Pay Wallet subscribers and holders significant. He added that the company will continue to offer new Web3 experiences through projects combining sports and blockchain.
