US-Iran talks in Switzerland have stalled, but they have not completely broken off, CNN reported.

CNN reported on June 21 that the negotiations had been temporarily suspended, citing a source. The source added that both sides were continuing back-channel contacts to resume the talks.

Vice President JD Vance and the US delegation are in Switzerland for talks with Iranian officials, according to the report. The Strait of Hormuz and ways to preserve the ceasefire in Lebanon are the main items on the agenda.

The two sides are also expected to begin discussions on Iran's nuclear program, a diplomatic source told CNN.

Separately, Iran's Tasnim News Agency reported that the Iranian delegation left the negotiating venue after US President Donald Trump warned of military action against Iran.
