Swiss Web3 development platform Enso has launched a real-world asset, or RWA, application that provides access to more than 500 tokenized assets. The platform enables trading in US stocks, exchange-traded funds, Treasuries, commodities and stablecoins through a single execution layer.

Cointelegraph reported on June 22 that Enso supports trading in more than 500 tokenized assets through integrations with xStocks, Ondo Finance and Anchorage Digital Porto.

Users of Enso’s execution layer can access tokenized stocks, ETFs, US Treasuries, commodities and stablecoins. Ondo provides tokenized stock and Treasury products as well as capital-markets infrastructure, while xStocks offers access to tokenized stocks and ETFs.

Supported assets include major US companies such as Apple, Microsoft, Nvidia, Amazon, Alphabet, Meta, Tesla and SpaceX.

Enso aims to unify tokenized assets scattered across multiple venues into a single distribution and execution layer to improve accessibility and the trading experience.

Demand is concentrated in two areas, Enso co-founder and Chief Executive Officer Connor Howe told Cointelegraph. One is access to US markets that can trade around the clock, which traditional markets do not offer. The other is yield-bearing dollar-denominated assets.

The launch comes as demand for tokenized assets grows. The number of tokenized-asset holders climbed 13.4% over the past 30 days to 930,612, according to RWA.xyz. The total value of tokenized assets, however, slipped 0.9% during the same period.

US Treasuries make up the largest share of on-chain tokenized assets at about $15 billion. Tokenized commodities follow at $4.6 billion, while asset-backed credit products total $2.2 billion. Tokenized stocks are valued at about $1.6 billion.

Demand for on-chain access to US stocks and dollar-based yield-generating assets is rising, particularly among European investors. Enso’s launch is part of a broader expansion by European crypto firms into tokenized traditional assets.
