Securitize, a real-world asset tokenization platform, has sued digital securities infrastructure company tZERO in federal court in Delaware.
The Block reported on June 22 that tZERO had previously alleged Securitize's DS Protocol and Vault Registrar infringed two of its patents related to self-executing security tokens and integrated cryptocurrency infrastructure.
Securitize rejected the allegation, saying tZERO's patent infringement claims are baseless.
The company said tZERO had brought a meritless patent suit and that the claims run counter to the industry's principles of fair competition.
