Crypto Exchanges Are Evolving Into RWA Venues, CryptoQuant CEO Says
Forecast Trend Report by Period

CryptoQuant Chief Executive Officer Ki Young Ju said cryptocurrency exchanges are evolving into venues for real-world assets, or RWAs.
Ju told crypto media outlet Wu Blockchain on June 25 that traditional assets are taking a larger share of trading in Binance's USDT-margined perpetual futures market.
According to Ju, metals, crude oil and stocks ranked among the most-traded single assets by average volume in Binance's USDT-margined perpetual futures market. Altcoins outside the top 10 by market capitalization followed.
The trend shows rising demand for contracts tied to real-world assets such as gold, crude oil and stocks, he wrote.
Ju said crypto exchanges are evolving into RWA exchanges, as trading platforms broaden beyond digital assets into products linked to real-world assets.
