The number of vessels passing through the Strait of Hormuz has climbed to its highest level since the war began.
Walter Bloomberg reported on June 25 that 70 to 78 ships transited the Strait on Wednesday after the International Maritime Organization launched a safe-navigation operation.
That remains below the prewar daily average of about 130 vessels.
Markets have taken the recovery in ship traffic as a positive sign. Still, investors are looking for further evidence that the rebound will continue and that traffic will fully normalize.
