US, Iran to Hold Next Round of Post-Truce Talks on June 28, Open Communication Channel

The United States and Iran will hold the next round of follow-up talks on their post-truce memorandum of understanding starting June 28.
BlockBeats and other outlets reported June 26 that the two sides plan to meet for two days, from June 28 to June 29.
The US and Iran have also established a separate communication channel to prevent military clashes in the Strait of Hormuz.
Under the truce agreement with Washington, Iran maintains that all ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz must use routes designated by Tehran.
The Wall Street Journal reported that Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps attacked a Singapore-flagged container ship in Omani waters on June 25. The move appears intended to deter attempts to bypass Iranian control by using Omani waters.
