Iran Says It Will Honor Commitments if US Keeps Its Promises

Iran said any agreement with the US must be carried out on a reciprocal basis, and that it would honor its commitments if Washington does the same.

Walter Bloomberg reported on June 29 that Iran's president said, "If Washington fulfills its promises, we will fulfill ours."

He added that Iran would respond to threats with reason and dignity, while emphasizing that the country would defend itself firmly and without fear if necessary.
