Global cryptocurrency exchange Bitget said it has completed dividend payments to investors in its tokenized stock products.

BlockBeats reported on July 1 that Bitget paid dividends on 20 US stocks and exchange-traded funds, including tokenized shares rNVDA, linked to Nvidia, rGOOGL, linked to Google, and rMETA, linked to Meta. The payments were made in Tether, the dollar-pegged stablecoin known as USDT.

rNVDA and the other products are part of Bitget's tokenized stock lineup, called rToken, which is listed on the exchange. Each rToken is pegged 1:1 to its underlying asset, and the reserve assets are held by a licensed custodian.

Stock dividends are also distributed in token form on a 1:1 basis. Corporate actions such as stock splits and reverse splits are synchronized with the tokens.

Bitget introduced weekend trading for rToken products last month. The feature currently covers 20 names, including Apple, Tesla and Nvidia.
