In a post on its official X account, the company said it purchased 2,823 Bitcoin. The latest buy increased Metaplanet's total Bitcoin holdings to 43,000.
Metaplanet said at the end of June that it aims to accumulate 1% of Bitcoin's total supply over the long term. To reach that goal, the company plans to buy about 170,000 Bitcoin in total, including this latest purchase.
