Standard Chartered has secured a license under the European Union’s Markets in Crypto-Assets, or MiCA, framework.
Crypto news outlet BeInCrypto reported on July 3 that the European Securities and Markets Authority added 37 crypto firms to its latest register. That increased the total number of authorized crypto-asset service providers, or CASPs, in the bloc to 280.
The newly authorized firms include crypto prime broker FalconX, Sygnum Europe and Standard Chartered.
