Revolut to Delist Tether, End USDT Support on Aug. 31

Revolut, Europe’s largest fintech company, will fully halt trading support for Tether’s USDT, the world’s biggest stablecoin by market value.
Wu Blockchain reported on July 3 that Revolut recently notified users via app push alerts and email that it would delist USDT from its list of supported crypto assets.
Under the company’s schedule, Revolut users can buy USDT only through July 6. New USDT deposits will be blocked entirely starting July 30.
Existing holdings can be sold or withdrawn to external crypto wallets only through Aug. 31.
Revolut said any USDT remaining in user accounts after support ends on Aug. 31 will be automatically converted into fiat currency at the market exchange rate at that time. In the notice, the company described the delisting as a step to provide a safe, transparent and responsible trading environment.
