Strategy founder Michael Saylor said spam transactions have not been a problem on the Bitcoin network over the past decade.
Writing on X, formerly Twitter, Saylor said that despite debate over block space and non-monetary use cases, Bitcoin has not faced a spam transaction issue during the past 10 years.
Bitcoin’s average fee is now about 1 sat/vB, he wrote, allowing users to send any amount instantly from anywhere in the world for about $0.30. He added that concerns over Bitcoin block space are being resolved by free-market principles.
