Robinhood to Add AI Agent Integration for Crypto Trading

Robinhood Markets Inc., the U.S. stock and cryptocurrency trading platform, is expanding its artificial intelligence agent features into crypto trading.

The company announced on July 10 that it plans to soon introduce a feature allowing users to connect external AI agents to its platform and automatically execute cryptocurrency trades.

Once the feature is available, eligible U.S. users will be able to work with AI agents to develop personalized crypto trading strategies. The AI tools will be able to manage assets and place trades within preset risk limits without requiring users to continuously monitor their accounts.

Robinhood previously rolled out a beta version of its AI agent feature for stock and options trading. More than 70,000 AI agent accounts have been created since the beta service began.

Robinhood said the addition of AI agents for crypto trading is aimed at accelerating the convergence of fintech and the Web3 ecosystem. It has not disclosed a specific launch date for the feature.
