Walter Bloomberg reported on July 13 that Trump, in an interview with conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt, said the US would “hit Iran hard tonight and tomorrow.”
Trump also said the US would strike Iran’s Pickaxe Mountain once in the near term.
Pickaxe Mountain is a fortified site near Iran’s Natanz uranium enrichment facility, which has sustained severe damage. The facility is believed to include two deep underground tunnel complexes, and experts say it may be beyond the reach of the US GBU-57 bunker-buster bomb.
