Bitcoin briefly rose back above $64,000.

As of 10:22 p.m. on July 14, the token was trading at $64,129 on Binance's USDT market, compared with about $68,100 on Upbit.

Earlier in the day, US consumer price index data for June came in at 3.5%, below the market forecast of 3.8%. The reading fueled speculation that the Federal Reserve is less likely to raise interest rates later this month.

Meanwhile, the kimchi premium for major cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin was -1.04%, according to Cryprice.
