OpenAI has integrated FIFA World Cup odds from prediction-market platform Kalshi into ChatGPT search results, the New York Times reported.
Cointelegraph, citing the Times, reported on July 14 that ChatGPT now displays Kalshi-based prediction-market odds in graphic form when users search for World Cup matches. The integration was introduced without a public announcement. Kalshi did not respond to Cointelegraph’s request for comment, and OpenAI did not immediately reply.
According to the report, a ChatGPT search for France versus Spain shows France with a 59% chance of winning, while a search for England versus Argentina shows England at 55%. Kalshi is identified as the source. ChatGPT does not allow users to place bets directly, and the Kalshi data is provided for informational purposes only.
The integration marks OpenAI’s first partnership with a prediction-market platform. It comes as technology companies increasingly incorporate market-based forecast data into consumer services.
Kalshi is a regulated prediction-market platform where users trade contracts tied to real-world events including economic data, politics and sports. Data from on-chain analytics platform Dune Analytics shows Kalshi’s monthly notional trading volume exceeded $33 billion last month, about $22 billion more than rival Polymarket.
Prediction-market data is already moving into mainstream platforms. Kalshi signed data partnerships with CNN and CNBC in December 2025, while Polymarket partnered with Dow Jones in January 2026 to supply data to The Wall Street Journal and other outlets. Google also integrated Kalshi and Polymarket data into Google Finance and its search service in November 2025.
