US, UK Unveil Joint Roadmap to Support Tokenized Assets and Stablecoins
Forecast Trend Report by Period

The US and the UK have unveiled a joint roadmap aimed at developing markets for tokenized assets and stablecoins.
CoinDesk reported on July 14 that the US Treasury Department and the UK Treasury released a 10-point roadmap to strengthen supervisory coordination on tokenized assets, stablecoins and digital financial markets.
The plan focuses on reducing regulatory friction that could hamper the growth of digital assets such as tokenized securities and stablecoins. The two countries plan to jointly test global tokenization projects, coordinate regulation for security tokens, and form an industry-led working group to support the development of cross-border stablecoins.
The roadmap does not introduce new regulations. Instead, it sets out areas for cooperation among regulators in both countries, including the US Securities and Exchange Commission, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, the UK's Financial Conduct Authority and the Bank of England, according to the report.
