US Government Transfers 4,820 ETH Seized From FTX, Alameda to Coinbase Prime

The US government moved all assets out of a wallet holding cryptocurrencies seized from FTX and Alameda Research.

On July 15, an address linked to the US government transferred 4,820 ETH, worth about $9.28 million, to Coinbase Prime, according to Onchain Lens.

It also distributed 54.89 billion SHIB, worth about $235,000, 631,000 POWR, worth about $27,900, and 1.06 million AERGO, worth about $22,100, to newly created wallets.

A transfer to Coinbase Prime may signal a potential sale. But it could also reflect institutional custody or asset-management purposes, and it was not confirmed whether the assets were actually disposed of.
