Anton Bukov, co-founder of DeFi platform 1inch Network, said he has been out of the company’s operations since late last year.
In a post on X, Bukov wrote that he has not been involved in operations since late November 2025 because of disagreements over strategic direction and leadership. He said he no longer has any role in product architecture or security.
Bukov added that he remains a co-founder and a shareholder with a 50% stake.
He also unveiled a new independent DeFi infrastructure project called Second Tier. Bukov co-founded 1inch in 2019 and previously led the design of core technologies including the 1inch Router, Fusion and cross-chain swaps.
