Trump Media to Launch Paid Real-Time Truth Social API for Wall Street

Trump Media & Technology Group plans to launch a paid API service for Wall Street institutional investors, offering ultra-low-latency access to Truth Social posts.
Crypto media outlet Cointelegraph reported on July 17 that TMTG plans to begin offering the paid service, called Truth API, to institutional clients on Aug. 1. The product will provide real-time posts from major Truth Social accounts, including that of U.S. President Donald Trump. It is aimed primarily at high-frequency and algorithmic trading firms that require an ultra-low-latency, machine-readable feed.
Interim Chief Executive Officer Kevin McGahn said in a statement that markets are already reacting to Truth Social posts. He described Truth API as a way to deliver licensed, real-time access to market-moving posts while monetizing a proprietary asset through a high-margin recurring revenue model.
Trump's Truth Social posts have already moved markets. More recently, posts related to tensions between the U.S. and Iran affected financial markets. In addition to Trump, the service will cover accounts including Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump and FBI Director Kash Patel.
McGahn told CNN that some companies have been scraping Truth Social data without authorization in violation of the platform's terms of service. TMTG plans to impose significant restrictions on firms that do not use official channels, he added.
