SpaceX in Talks With Pentagon to Provide AI Data-Center Capacity

SpaceX, Elon Musk’s space company, is in talks with the US Department of Defense on a contract to provide data-center capacity for artificial intelligence workloads.

Walter Bloomberg reported on July 17 that the deal could be worth billions of dollars. The contract would support the Pentagon’s effort to expand its AI capabilities.

If the agreement is reached, SpaceX would further strengthen its position in the US defense technology sector.
