Cardano Developer Input Output to Hand Off Core Infrastructure in Decentralization Push
Forecast Trend Report by Period

Input Output, the developer behind Cardano (ADA), plans to transfer operation of key blockchain infrastructure to outside specialist teams as part of a broader push to strengthen decentralization.
CoinDesk reported on July 17 that Input Output said it would hand control of core infrastructure to external teams to reduce reliance on the in-house developer. The company described the move as the next stage of Cardano's decentralization.
The handover will cover the Haskell node, the Plutus smart-contract platform, the Daedalus wallet, Hydra scaling technology and developer relations.
Se7en Labs, a Solana infrastructure developer, and Terragon, which has led development of Cardano's Mithril signature scheme, will take on the work. The transition is scheduled to begin in August and continue through 2027.
