Dunamu Expands ‘GASOK’ Program to Support Developers in GIWA Ecosystem

Dunamu, the operator of digital-asset exchange Upbit, is expanding efforts to find talent to build on its Web3 infrastructure ecosystem, GIWA.

Dunamu said July 20 that it will broaden its GASOK program for builders, developers and founders through the end of July.

GASOK is designed to identify teams with the development capabilities to build in the GIWA ecosystem. Selected individuals and teams will receive free infrastructure support needed for development and operations.

GIWA is a Web3 infrastructure platform built and operated by Dunamu. It currently includes GIWA Chain, a high-performance Layer 2 blockchain, and GIWA Wallet, a user-friendly wallet.

Participating teams will gain access to Upbit’s infrastructure operating know-how and Web3 development environment. They will also receive funding support and networking opportunities. The winning team can receive up to $100,000 in grants based on milestones. It will also have an opportunity to pitch its product directly to global venture capital firms at Korea Blockchain Week 2026, a domestic blockchain conference.

The expanded application round is open to any individual or team with original ideas and development capabilities. Dunamu will give preference to native builders that can turn creative ideas into products based on an understanding of the GIWA ecosystem. Apps that make Web3 more accessible to users unfamiliar with the technology will also receive favorable consideration.

Dunamu decided to widen recruitment after completing the first round in May and seeing market interest in the program. Applicants in the first round could apply with only an idea. The second round requires more concrete deliverables, including a pitch deck, an MVP demo video or accessible website, a public smart-contract link and technical documentation.

Selected teams will later be invited to a whitelist-based private GIWA mainnet environment, where they will be able to deploy products directly and receive acceleration support.

A Dunamu official said the company hopes the GASOK program will bring in more strong development teams that can help drive broader adoption of the Web3 ecosystem. Dunamu also wants to encourage skilled developers to turn imagination into reality, the official said.
