Ansem Says Crypto Market Cycle Is Equipped to Draw Retail Investors
Forecast Trend Report by Period

Solana-based memecoin trader Ansem said the current crypto market cycle has the infrastructure and market conditions needed to attract retail investors.
Writing on X on July 20, Ansem said Bitcoin was down about 50% from its peak, but industry infrastructure and user experience have improved significantly since the last cycle. He cited a more mature mobile trading environment, easier cross-chain functionality and lower barriers to entry for new users.
He also pointed to institutional interest in real-world assets, the regulatory framework under the U.S. CLARITY Act, and expanding crypto strategies by traditional technology companies such as Robinhood and Stripe as factors supporting the market environment.
Those conditions could attract not only institutional investors but also risk-tolerant retail traders, he wrote. Improved mobile app usability could also bring in more new users who had hesitated to enter the market because of complex interfaces.
