Bitcoin Miner LM Funding to Rebrand as PowerCompute, Expand AI Infrastructure

LM Funding America, a Bitcoin miner, will change its name to PowerCompute effective July 22, media reports said on July 20. The company's stock ticker will change to PWCM from LMFA.

The rebranding is part of a strategy to expand its high-performance computing and artificial intelligence infrastructure business using its 26-megawatt power infrastructure.

The company said it will maintain its existing treasury strategy of holding Bitcoin on its balance sheet.
