Bitwise CIO Says Next Crypto Bull Run Will Be Led by Hyperliquid-Style Protocols, Robinhood

Matt Hougan, chief investment officer at Bitwise, said the next cryptocurrency bull run will be driven by broader adoption of stablecoins, tokenization, 24-hour trading, instant settlement and institutional decentralized finance.

Crypto outlet Crypto Briefing reported on July 22 that Hougan said it was still too early to declare the market fully recovered. But improving investor sentiment, inflows into spot exchange-traded funds and Bitcoin's recent strength are prompting investors to focus on what will drive the next cycle.

Hougan also said blockchain technology will be applied more deeply across traditional finance going forward. Investors should pay attention to cryptocurrency protocols in the mold of Hyperliquid (HYPE) and companies such as Robinhood (HOOD), he added.
