The US carried out another round of airstrikes on Iran.

CNN reported on July 23 that US Central Command began a new wave of strikes against Iran at 6:45 p.m. Eastern time.

CENTCOM wrote on X that the operation marked the 13th straight day of action aimed at reducing threats to commercial shipping and holding Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, or IRGC, accountable. The command added that it was continuing strikes to weaken Iran's threats.

President Donald Trump also ruled out the possibility of new ceasefire talks with Iran on July 23. "They need more of the same," he said, signaling that military pressure would continue for now despite the repeated airstrikes.
