Decentralized exchange Aster has launched a beta version of its Vault service, allowing users to participate in managed trading strategies.

Aster announced on X on July 24 that Aster Vault Beta is now live, giving users access to actively managed trading strategies without having to execute every trade themselves.

Users can deposit funds into a vault and share in its profits and losses based on their stake, according to Aster. Each vault is structured as a pooled account managed by a single trader, who runs the deposited funds as one portfolio.

Only a limited number of vaults will be available during the beta period. The service supports deposits in USDT and USD1.

Transparency settings vary by vault. Public vaults disclose both positions and performance, while private vaults hide positions but disclose performance. Flexible vaults allow managers to switch between public and private modes.

Before depositing funds, users can check each vault's lock-up period and profit-sharing ratio. Funds can be withdrawn after the lock-up period ends, though some positions may be reduced or liquidated if needed to process withdrawal requests.

Aster said vault creation during the beta period will be restricted to whitelisted managers. It added that whitelist status only grants permission to create vaults during the beta period and does not amount to a guarantee or recommendation of a manager's performance.
