Russia Says It Will Await New Trump Ukraine Peace Proposal While Military Campaign Continues

Odaily reported on July 24 that the Kremlin said Russia would wait for a new proposal from Washington even as the U.S. continues supplying weapons to Ukraine.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Russia would keep using military means to achieve its existing goals.
"Military action is not the preferred path, but at present there is no prospect for peace," Peskov said. "We will go all the way until complete victory."
He added that Russia would nonetheless wait for a new proposal from the U.S.
The remarks came amid speculation that Trump may present a new plan to end the war in Ukraine. Still, Russia’s insistence that military operations will continue leaves little room for expectations of a near-term ceasefire.
