Samsung Electronics Chairman Jay Y. Lee and OpenAI Chief Executive Officer Sam Altman are set to meet at OpenAI’s headquarters in San Francisco.
OpenAI said Lee and Altman will hold a meeting with senior executives from both companies in San Francisco on the morning of July 25.
The talks are expected to focus on cooperation in AI infrastructure, including high-bandwidth memory, DRAM and advanced foundry services. The two sides are also expected to discuss ways to connect Samsung Electronics’ memory chip and foundry capabilities with OpenAI’s large-scale AI infrastructure project.
