It also disabled two ships that failed to comply with military instructions. Troops boarded two other vessels to verify whether they were complying with the blockade.
The US military said it boarded and inspected the Comoros-flagged tanker M/T Charminar in the Arabian Sea on July 26. The vessel resumed its voyage after the inspection.
On July 24, the military disabled the Mozambique-flagged tanker M/T Rabin in the Gulf of Oman. Central Command said the vessel had repeatedly attempted to violate the maritime blockade and failed to respond to US warnings.
