Fed Holds Benchmark Rate Steady, in Line With Market Expectations

The Federal Reserve's Federal Open Market Committee said in an official statement on July 29 that it would hold its benchmark interest rate steady, in line with market expectations.

The U.S. benchmark rate will remain at 3.50% to 3.75%.
