Ondo Finance Weighs Acquisition of Up to $500 Million, CoinDesk Reports

Ondo Finance, a real-world asset tokenization platform, is considering an acquisition worth as much as $500 million, CoinDesk reported, citing people familiar with the matter.

The company is reviewing targets valued at $250 million to $500 million as it seeks to expand, the report said. The potential deal comes as mergers and acquisitions accelerate across the crypto infrastructure market. Ondo Finance has not hired a formal adviser, and a wealthtech company is emerging as a likely target, according to CoinDesk.

Ondo Finance told CoinDesk that, as a fast-growing company, it continuously evaluates the market as part of its normal business operations. The company added that it is not currently in acquisition talks with any party.
