Grayscale Investments sent a letter to the U.S. Senate urging it to hold a floor vote on the Clarity Act before the August congressional recess, foreign media reported on July 31.

Lawmakers and aides have spent months deliberating over complex issues including jurisdiction, investor protection and safeguards for developers, Grayscale wrote. The bill that emerged from that process would protect investors, ensure legitimate developers are not subject to excessive regulation, and provide the regulatory clarity Americans need.

After months of bipartisan work, the Clarity Act is now ready for a floor vote, the company added, calling on the Senate to move quickly.
