Global cryptocurrency card payments rose to a record high even as the broader digital-asset market remained rangebound.

Data from Paymentscan showed global crypto card payment volume reached $705.5 million in July, up 12.2% from the previous month. The increase extended the growth streak to five consecutive months.

By card program, RedotPay led the market with $382 million in payment volume, accounting for more than half of the total. Ether.fi followed with $91.09 million, while Kast recorded $88.21 million and Karta posted $51.25 million. Tria ($14.05 million), Colo ($13.38 million) and Plasma One ($12.56 million) also ranked among the top programs by payment volume.

Use of cryptocurrencies for real-world payments has continued to increase even as overall market trading volume remains stagnant. Coin Bureau said crypto use in everyday payments is still growing despite prices staying trapped in a range, calling it a sign that on-chain liquidity is increasingly connecting with the real economy.
