Walter Bloomberg reported on August 2, citing Iran's Fars News, that Tehran "has not accepted any agreement" related to reopening the Strait of Hormuz.
It also said the strait would remain closed as long as hostile US actions continue. Vessels must use routes designated by Iran and may pass only with permission from the naval arm of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, or IRGC, it said.
