Iran Rejects US Proposal to Fully Reopen Strait of Hormuz Before War Ends
Minseung Kang

Iran has rejected a US proposal to reopen the Strait of Hormuz.
Walter Bloomberg, an overseas breaking financial news channel, reported on August 3 that Al Mayadeen, citing an Iranian source, said Iran would not fully reopen the strait until the war ends.
The source also claimed the US had made some concessions regarding the closure of shipping lanes south of the strait. The claim has not been officially confirmed.
