Forecast Trend Report by Period

XRP futures trading has shrunk sharply, with activity becoming increasingly concentrated on Binance.
CryptoQuant Quicktake analyst Amr Taha wrote on August 4 that total XRP futures volume stood at $897 million as of August 3. That was down about 21.5% from the $1.14 billion recorded on May 1.
Binance handled about $437 million of XRP futures volume, accounting for 48.7% of the total. That was nearly equal to the combined $460 million traded across all other centralized exchanges.
Compared with May, Binance's XRP futures volume rose about 6.8% from $409 million. Volume on other exchanges fell about 37% from $733 million. Binance's relative share expanded even as the broader market contracted.
Liquidation flows showed sharper losses in long positions. Since February, liquidations of bullish bets have consistently exceeded those of short positions.
Taha wrote that the drop in trading volume does not determine XRP's next direction. But with the futures market now smaller, any renewed inflow of leveraged capital could trigger bigger price swings.
