U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said progress has been made in negotiations with Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, while stressing that no final agreement has been reached.

Walter Bloomberg, an overseas economic news account, reported on X on August 4 that Rubio said progress had been made in the talks with Iran. Nothing has been finalized, he added, though he expects an agreement very soon.
