D’CENT, SOIL Launch Joint Campaign to Expand XRP Use Beyond Custody

IoTrust, a South Korean cryptocurrency wallet provider, said Wednesday it will run an XRP ecosystem campaign with on-chain finance protocol SOIL for about three weeks.

The campaign is part of IoTrust’s global partnership project, XRP Alliance, which is designed to help XRP holders more easily discover and use new technologies and services emerging in the ecosystem.

During the campaign, IoTrust will use its D’CENT wallet app to introduce SOIL’s XRP Vault structure and how it works. It will also provide a channel for users to directly explore new ways to put their XRP holdings to work.

SOIL is an on-chain protocol that links traditional finance and blockchain. Through SOIL, users can access on-chain asset management services tied to U.S. Treasuries, money market funds and institutional lending within the XRP Ledger ecosystem without converting XRP into other assets. The company said the offering broadens XRP’s use beyond custody-focused functions into institutional finance-based services.

Services aimed at expanding XRP use cases have recently continued to emerge across the ecosystem, including SOIL, Flare and Doppler Finance. D’CENT said it will help XRP holders easily review the structure and features of those services.

Separately, D’CENT recently launched the D’CENT S, a card-style cold wallet equipped with near-field communication, or NFC. The company plans to expand its products and services beyond secure asset storage so users can discover multiple blockchain ecosystems and services from within the wallet.

A D’CENT official said the company will provide a safe and convenient gateway for XRP holders to discover a range of services in the ecosystem and make their own decisions.
