Lummis Says Talks With Democrats on CLARITY Act Are Continuing to Secure Regulatory Clarity

Sen. Cynthia Lummis said in a post on X on August 5 that she is continuing talks with Democrats to pass the CLARITY Act.

Lummis wrote that she discussed the bill’s Commodity Futures Trading Commission provisions as recently as the previous night. She also said President Donald Trump has been more active than any previous president in protecting ethical standards related to digital assets.

She added that Congress should pass the CLARITY Act to create a clear regulatory framework and help keep the crypto industry in the US.
