Bitstamp, the centralized cryptocurrency exchange owned by Robinhood, has listed the meme coin Cashcat.
BlockBeats reported on Aug. 6 that trading in Cashcat had been enabled on Bitstamp that day. Bitstamp did not publish a separate listing announcement for the token.
Cashcat is a meme coin built on Robinhood Chain, Robinhood’s proprietary blockchain. The token drew investor interest shortly after launch and helped drive trading volume growth on Robinhood Chain.
Cashcat jumped nearly 50% on the day. According to CoinMarketCap, the token was trading at $0.1315 as of 7:11 p.m. Korea Standard Time on Aug. 6, up 44.31% from a day earlier. That was 183.48% higher than a week earlier.
