Move-to-earn platform Step App will shut down four years after its launch.
Cointelegraph reported on August 6 that Step App said in a post on X that it will wind down services in stages through August 21. The company asked users to unstake unlocked tokens and close exchange positions before the service ends.
FITFI, Step App’s governance and utility token, continued to decline. CoinMarketCap data showed the token was down 11.38% from a day earlier as of 11:23 p.m. on August 6. That leaves it 99.9% below its all-time high of $0.73 reached in May 2022.
