Chainlink has executed a token buyback worth about $1.13 million.
According to Odaily and other outlets on August 7, Chainlink recently purchased about 139,956 LINK tokens and transferred them to a reserve wallet. The buyback is estimated to have cost about $1.13 million.
The tokens were acquired through decentralized trading protocol CoW Swap. Chainlink then consolidated the tokens into a single wallet and added them to its reserves.
Chainlink's reserve wallet now holds about 5.35 million tokens. The holdings are valued at about $43.9 million, with an average purchase price of $11.19 per token.
